Neptune: Just like the "god of fresh water" the Neptune slab gives the basis for growth through control of water and nutrients. The fibre structure of the slab is mainly horizontal, and the density gradually decreases from the top to the bottom of the slab. This way the construction of the slab ensures good distribution of the water, nutrients and roots. The Neptune slab is the natural choice for standard annual cultivation if you are looking for a strong slab with relatively high and controllable water retention. Apollo: Energy is what the"God of sun" supplies. This is also the case for our Apollo slab. The fibre structure of the slab is mainly vertical ensuring easy wetting up and good drainage. The structure initiates fast rooting and provides excellent root development along with the fibre direction. Apollo is the natural choice for standard annual cultivation if you are looking for a strong and free draining slab. Venus: Strength and control characterises the "Goddess of Love". The same is valid for our Venus slab. Fibre structure has the same characteristics as the Neptune slabs, but it has a higher density. The slab is especially designed for floriculture as a strong and durable slab with best possible water retention capacity. Venus is the natural choice for standard perennial cultivation.
Easy handling
Pargro slabs are available mainly wrapped. A few sizes are also available unwrapped. The foil around the wrapped slabs makes them easy to handle and saturate. Pargro slabs are wrapped in black/white foil to prevent light penetration. The growth of algae is minimised, and the temperature regulation in the root zone is improved - ensuring healthier roots at the edge of the slabs. Pargro slabs are firm and thereby easy to handle under transport, on stock and during distribution in the greenhouse. The durable and strong structure of the slab makes it less vulnerable to physical damages. Some of the slab assortment can be delivered on pallets, which will ease handling for you.
